Cassie Ruby-Nemec, PT, DPT, OCS, NCPT, is the co-owner of PHI Pilates and a Board-Certified Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist. She is certified through the National Pilates Certification Program (NPCP) and is passionate about integrating evidence-based rehabilitation with Pilates education.
Cassie earned her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Pittsburgh. She has extensive experience in both outpatient and inpatient physical therapy, specializing in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.
As a physical therapist and Pilates educator, Cassie works full-time at PHI Pilates, treating clients, developing educational programs, and training future Pilates instructors as a PHI Pilates Master Teacher Trainer.
An international presenter, Cassie teaches continuing education courses and workshops for rehabilitation professionals and Pilates instructors throughout the United States and internationally. She is passionate about advancing the Pilates profession through education and helping bridge the gap between rehabilitation and movement.
A lifelong dancer who began ballet at the age of three, Cassie has practiced Pilates for decades and credits it as a foundation for strength, longevity, and injury prevention. In addition to Pilates, she also teaches TRX® and Bounce classes.
