Below are answers to some of our most common questions. If you have a question that is not answered here please reach out to us directly.
What are the Pre-Requisites for PHI training?
It is recommended that all students begin with the Pilates Mat Level I course. The pre-requisites for this course include a fitness certification or college level anatomy course. If you have not had an anatomy course, we can recommend some home study options and resources for you to assist you. The most successful students will also have some experience teaching exercise or participating in a Pilates class. Those who have not taught are not discouraged, but should realize that they may need more practice to gain the skills to lead a group exercise class.
What if I already have some training through another organization?
PHI Pilates has a bridge program and we can see where your experience will place you in our program so that you can meet your intended goals. All transfer students are individually screened so that you don’t have to repeat courses that are unnecessary. If you would like to consider bridging into our program, please contact us directly at 412-563-1807 or by email at info@phipilates.com.
