We provide live and online education leading to Pilates certification as well as books, DVD’s and educational resources in the fields of wellness and rehabilitation. PHI Pilates Connect, the distance education arm of PHI Pilates offers a wide variety of continuing education courses offering continuing education credits for NPCP.

CONTINUING PILATES EDUCATION

PHI Pilates offers continuing education for all of your needs via both virtual and live platforms. Courses are approved for credits through NPCP.

If you are new to Pilates and are considering earning your National Pilates Certification, we have the education that you need to sit for and pass the National Pilates Certification Program exam. Our curriculum is modular so you can work at your own pace and even learn one apparatus at a time.

PHI Pilates provides continuing education courses for instructors in an easy to access asynchronous online environment. This environment is available on the World Wide Web or through our PHI Pilates Connect Apple/Android APP. These courses provide continuing education credits for the NPCP.

FAQs

Below are answers to some of our most common questions. If you have a question that is not answered here please reach out to us directly.

What are the Pre-Requisites for PHI training?

The PHI Pilates Mat Level I course is the pre-requisite for all comprehensive courses. The pre-requisites for this course include a fitness certification or college level anatomy course. If you have not had an anatomy course, we can recommend some home study options and resources to assist you in preparing for the course. The most successful students will also have experience either teaching exercise or participating in Pilates classes. Those who have not taught are not discouraged, but should realize that they may need more practice to gain the skills to lead a group exercise class.

What if I already have some training through another organization?

PHI Pilates has a bridge program and we can see where your experience will place you in our program so that you can meet your intended goals. All transfer students are individually screened so that you don’t have to repeat courses that are unnecessary. I am already trained. Can I take PHI courses?

Pilates instructors and rehabilitation professionals are always welcome to take PHI courses for continuing education. There is no requirement to progress to full comprehensive training. You can choose courses to enhance your present skills.

What if I lose my PHI certificate of completion?

PHI Pilates can only guarantee replacement certificates within 10 years. If you obtained a certificate in 2018 or later, your certificate is available to you online at https://certificates.phipilates.com/issuer/20732/credentials. If you obtained your certificate before 2018 or are unable to find your certificate online, please contact PHI Pilates at info@phipilates.com or 412-563-1807. You will need to provide your name, the name of the course, location and date of the training so that we can locate your certificate. There may be a fee if your certificate is not in the online database.

What happens if I register for a course and need to cancel?

If you cancel at least 14 days before the training, you are welcome to transfer to another course, date, or location for a $50 fee. This transfer credit is valid for one year. No refunds are made after the 14 day deadline. Emergencies and special circumstances are considered.

Can I host a PHI Pilates training at my facility?

We welcome new host sites anywhere in the world. Please contact us at info@phipilates.com or 412-563-1807 to set up your next training.

I have several staff members to train. Is there an economical way to get everyone trained at my own facility?

Yes, this is PHI’s specialty. We can adapt our program to your needs and come to your facility. Contact us at info@phipilates.com or 412-563-1807.

I am unable to travel, can I still train with PHI Pilates to sit for the National Pilates Certification Program exam?

Yes, PHI Pilates has adapted their the training program so that the live portions of the training are offered via ZOOM and the online supplements have been expanded to offer more in depth training and testing.  Practical exams are also done virtually with your mentor.  Observation and practice can be done virtually at the PHI Pilates training centers via ZOOM. If attending via Zoom, you must have your camera on for the entire duration and have the required equipment available for use.
