[Q]: What are the pre-requisites for PHI training?

[A] It is recommended that all students begin with the Mat I course. The pre-requisites for this course include a fitness certification or college level anatomy course. The most successful student will also have some experience teaching exercise or participating in a Pilates class. Those who have not taught are not discouraged, but should realize that they may need more practice to gain the skills to lead a group exercise class.

[Q]: What if I am already trained in Mat?

[A] Some mat certifications are recognized by PHI Pilates. If you hold one of these certifications you will need to complete the online modules of Mat I & II prior to progressing to the equipment courses. Please call the office to register for the online modules only.

[Q]: I am already trained. Can I take PHI courses?

[A] Pilates instructors and rehabilitation professionals are always welcome to take PHI courses for continuing education. There is no requirement to progress to full training.

[Q]: What if I lose my PHI certificate of completion?

[A] Contact PHI Pilates at info@phipilates.com or 877-716-4879. You will need to provide your name, the name of the course, location and date of the training so that we can locate your certificate. We will be happy to replace your certificate for a $25 fee.

[Q]: What happens if I register for a course and need to cancel?

[A] You can transfer to another date or location for a $50 fee. If you choose to cancel, we will reimburse your registration less the $50 cancellation fee. We are happy to reschedule you on another date or at a different location with a $50 reschedule fee.

[Q]: Can I host a PHI Pilates training at my facility?

[A] We welcome new host sites anywhere in the world. Please contact us at info@phipilates.com or 877-716-4879 to set up your next training.

[Q]: I have several staff members to train. Is there an economical way to get everyone trained at my own facility?

[A] Yes, this is PHI’s specialty. We can adapt our program to your needs and come to your facility. Contact us at info@phipilates.com or 877-716-4879.
